Rahu Kaal

Rahu Kaal is inauspious time.Auspious works such as buying selling or trading, investing in Stock Market and Commodity Market ,starting new business venture,finilising fresh deals,starting or making new relations,travelling,any religious worship,marriage  are  to be avoided during Rahu Kaal.It can be anytime between sunrise and sunset.Rahu Kaal is 90 minutes of time.So Rahu Kaal differs from place to place as

sunrise and sunset times are not same for all places.Rahu Kaal is calculated asuming 8 segments of total

time between sunrise and sunset.These are called Muhurta.So on each day rahu kaal is as follows:
Sunday      8th Muhurta
Monday     2nd Muhurta
Tuesday    7th Muhurta
Wednesday  5th Muhurta
Thursday  6th Muhurta
Friday   4th Muhurta
Saturday 3rd Muhurta

So if it is assumed that Sunrise and Sunset times are 6:00 am and 6:00 pm the Rahu Kaal falls on these times on weekdays.It is important to know that these times  changes during different seasons .

Monday  7:30 – 9:00 (2nd Muhurta after 6:00 am ,90minutes or 1hour 30 minutes are added to the sunrise time)

Saturday 9:00 – 10:30 (3rd Muhurta)

Friday 10:30 12:00 (4th Muhurta)

Wednesday 12:00-13:30 (5th Muhurta)

Thursday 13:30-15:00 (6th (Muhurta)

Tuesday 15:00-16:30 (7th Muhurta)

Sunday 16:30 -18:00  (8th Muhurta)

It is advised to check local sunrise and sunset time to get accurate Rahu Kaal using above mentioned timing each Day
